The repisodic home health care rating is calculated from three main components based on quality metrics which are gathered by the
Medicare program. If no data is available for a rating due to a low volume of patients, the provider receives a
zero score for that metric:
- Patient Recommendation: The percentage of patients who would recommend this
home health care agency to others.
- Return to Hospital Metrics: The percentage of patients who were readmitted
to the hospital and the percentage of patients who visited the emergency room while being while being cared
for by this provider.
- Recovery Quality Metrics: repisodic has identified the following quality
metrics as the most important for quality home health care and have incorporated them in the rating:
Percentage of Patients Who Received Timely Care, Whose Wounds Healed, Pain Was Reduced, Improved Breathing,
Improved Bathing and Improved their Ability to Get In and Out of Bed.
