I wish I could mark a negative star. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I understand they are short staffed, but when a patient is in pain and calls for help, someone should be there to help. If you can't give more pain meds, contact the doctor to find out if a different pain med will work better. When someone puts their call light on, don't sneak into the room and turn the light off. When you bring food, don't put it on the table away from the patient thinking he/she can reach it. If the patient ask to be put in a chair to eat, then do your job, put them in a chair and make sure they are comfortable. My mother was in because she broke her hip, she also has a nerve issue in her ankle. There are no rails on the bed so she couldn't pull herself to make her comfortable. My mom was having trouble having a bowel movement, no one would put her on the commode. She tried using a spoon and a knife to dig the stool out of her butt. She asked for a wipe to clean her hands, the staff member asked her what for, she stated to clean the poop off her hands. He looked at her hands and said "I don't see anything" and walked away. Apparently, he doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom. There are no phones in the rooms for the patients to call family members. My mom luckily had a cell phone, but had never been trained on it, she learned to use it quickly when she needed me. Every time I called, I would be put through to the 200 wing and no one would answer. One question to the staff....Would you want your mother or any family member treated like this? DO NOT TAKE YOUR RELATIVES TO THIS FACILITY. THEY SUCK WHEN IT COMES TO COMPASSION. Now to go to file a claim with the BBB.
