The repisodic home health care rating is calculated from three main components based on quality metrics which are gathered by the
Medicare program. If no data is available for a rating due to a low volume of patients, the provider receives a
zero score for that metric:
Patient Recommendation: The percentage of patients who would recommend this
home health care agency to others.
Return to Hospital Metrics: The percentage of patients who were readmitted
to the hospital and the percentage of patients who visited the emergency room while being while being cared
for by this provider.
Recovery Quality Metrics: repisodic has identified the following quality
metrics as the most important for quality home health care and have incorporated them in the rating:
Percentage of Patients Who Received Timely Care, Whose Wounds Healed, Pain Was Reduced, Improved Breathing,
Improved Bathing and Improved their Ability to Get In and Out of Bed.
